Thursday 31 October is the scheduled return game in the Redland Bay - Carbrook Challenge Shield with the return against Carbrook vets scheduled to be played at Carbrook. A nomination sheet is available at the raffle table every Monday for any players who are interested in playing this game to add their name to the list or they can contact any memebr of the Vets Committee to have their name added. A string contingent is required if RBGC are to retain this shield because the more players we can get to represent the club the better our chances become, as the 10 best scores of each club are aggregated over the 2 games. Over the last couple of years, Carbrook have been getting closer to winning this shield.

Following this game is the RBGC veterans AGM and it is hoped that as many players as possible can stay to participate in the meeting. Finger food will be provided by the committee prior to the start of the meeting. This day will also see the close of this years eclectic so as to enable winners to be announced at the veterans Presentation Day on Monday 9 December.

Monday 25 November will see Bribie Isalnd visiting us in the return game between the 2 clubs. Due to traffic problems uncounted by them getting to our course, the game will have a 9:30am shotgun start and Not a 9:00am shotgun start as currently listed in the programme fixtures.
